The organizers of the forum are:

The main target of the Forum is to contribute to the realization of state governmental agrarian policy, to the economic growth of rural industry, development of farming and private economies; presentation of new forms of production cooperation, the possibility of integration of Ukraine's agro industrial complex to the European markets, demonstration of the up-to-date machinery and agricultural goods production technologies; engagement of representatives of executive power bodies, scientists, entrepreneurs to the solving of problem issues of agro industrial sector.

The significant feature of the fair is that at the same exhibition space the products for agricultural manufacturers and the farming economies from different regions of Ukraine were represented simultaneously. Such close communication between suppliers and consumers during the work of the exhibition gives the real possibility to correlate the demand and supply and to define the further development strategies. The representatives of regional Head Departments of agro industrial development, Ukrainian State Foundation for Support of Farmer Economies and of State Department of tractor and agricultural machine engineering of the Ministry of Industrial Policy of Ukraine participated in the work of Forum, this circumstance contributed to the realization of the main goal of event.

Creating the conditions for agricultural production output growth is the major factor for provision of social and economic stability and development of the State. Such processes of integration of Ukraine's agro industrial complex into the world structures involves acceleration of technical re-equipment of branches, introduction of innovations capable of bringing the native agricultural production on the level of European Standards, to make it compatible on the open international market.

The Forum successfully combined the presentation of advanced technologies, equipment, and agricultural machinery with the carrying out of scientific-practical conferences, seminars and meetings.

The Forum traditionally taking place on the eve of the Day of Agricultural Worker revealed the actuality and necessity of such event in the period of the agricultural year's ending when all manufacturers strike the balance and define their capabilities for the next year. Growth of quantity of participants of the trade fair reflects the actuality of the event.

In the solemn ceremony of the opening of the Forum, that took place on November, 14, 2007 participated:

After greeting the participants and visitors of the exhibition with the official opening of the Forum, the honoured guests attended exposition in the pavilion and at the open area with the total area 5000 sq.m.

Products from 17 countries of the world - Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Poland, Germany, Great Britain, the USA, Denmark, China, France, India, Belgium, the Netherlands, Hungary, Austria, Slovakia and Japan - were represented by 258 participants on the following topics:

Large-scale exposition of machine engineering complex represented by such companies as Agro constructional Alliance ASTRA, Sava SE, Uralvagonzavod FSUE PA (Russia), Semtek Industry Ltd., Ukragropostach Ltd., UkrInnMash Trading House, BilotserkivMAZ Ltd., Agrointer PE, Kherson Machine building Plant Ltd., Sputnik Ltd. Trading House, Esskom Ltd., Vinagroeksim Ltd., Umanfermmash Ltd., Krasyliv Machine Engineering Plant JSC., Lozivsky plant "Tractordetal" JSC., Novograd-Volynski RTP, JSC., Fliegl UG company, Bondioli & Pavesi Ukraine Inc., Lvivagromashproject JSC, ?? Bartoschuk PE, UAT Ltd. And others) offered a diverse overlook at home-produced and imported agricultural machinery of low, medium and high capacity, techniques and sprinkling equipment. Visitors could receive some additional information on agricultural equipment - ploughs, grain seeders, cultivators, harrows, cutters etc. and also get some qualified advice on matters connected with purchase and technical maintenance of the exhibited machinery.

Representatives of Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine and common visitors were agreeably surprised by agricultural machinery exhibited for the first time by well-known Hungarian company HEVESGEP LTD.

Also the legendary off-roaders UAZ, utility trucks and minivans and microbuses produced in Russia and China (Corporation "AIS", "FAW-Ukraine" Ltd.).

There was a great demand on grain drying equipment, granaries, grain cleaning machinery, granulating press etc., which is of current interest at this period of year and was represented by the following companies: Brice-Baker Group (Great Britain), Hetech Trend Engineering Ltd (Hungary), Hevesgep Ltd (Hungary), Grantech JV, Grain Systems Corporation Ltd., Agro-Daryna Ltd., Agroservice-SV Ltd., Lord CIC, Porzelackinvest JSC, Karlivsky Machine Engineering Plant OJSC, Machine Engineering Plant Komsomolets JSC, Agrotech PE, Aeromech Ltd., Renaissance Trade House Ltd., Elevatorpromservice Ltd. and others.

Peculiar attention was given the magnitude of exposition of feed production and veterinary companies (Capital-Prok, OJSC (Russia), Biomin Ukraine Ltd., Alltech Ukraine SE, Trouw Nutrition Ukraine Ltd., Right Frank Ltd., Vitamex JV, Apostolowo mixed fodder plant JSC, Kyiv-Atlantic Ukraine JSC, Strojtechnology Ltd., Astra AFE, Gorst & Co Ltd., Ukrvetprompostach Ltd., Ukrzoovetprompostach JSC etc.), and also of companies dealing with machinery and equipment for cattle and poultry breeding, keeping and feeding (PPH Polnet SP. ZO.O. (Poland), Schauer Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co KG (Austria), VDL Agrotech (the Netherlands), VIK-A Ltd., Krait Ltd., Promavtomatika PC, Promagrokombinat Ltd., Segimm Ukraine Ltd.)

A great interest was excited by the exposition of companies representing the agricultural chemistry section (United Phosphorus Ltd. JSC, International Ecological Foundation AQUA-VITAE, AgriSol Ltd., Agron Ltd., Agrobalance JSC, Agroprodcomponent PE, Vybir Ent., Hansa CJSC, Hermes Ltd., Crimea Titan JSC, Marshalok Ltd., Novofert Ltd., Nutritech Ukraine Ltd., Reacom Ltd., Ukrtechnofos Ltd., Khimvoskprom Ltd. etc. ) seed production (Agrosintez Ltd., Holland Plant Ukraine SE, Centre of Lawn Grass, Tseolit Ltd.), mushroom growing (Mushroom House, Engineering and Technical Centre PE).

One of the significant events of the Year 2007 became the realization of intergovernmental program of information-marketing centres network development in CIS countries, with the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine being the national orderer, represented by State Enterprise RKZ. IMC network has been developing during all 4 years of Forum's work. Nowadays, there has been created the informational space that embraces electronic management, social sector and electronic trade network. The informational system ContentNet of IMC network can be used by anyone: starting with subjects of small business, corporations, ministries and authorities to farmer, inventor, who develops his own electronic office without programmers, with electronic signature and electronic account.

At the scientific-practical conferences and seminars that were conducted during the three days of Forum's work, advanced technologies and ways of solution of branch's problems were discussed. Large-scale advertising campaign (attached) alongside with the intensive Forum's events programme contributed to the attraction of participants and visitors' attention to the work of "Agroforum-2007"
