The forum was held by support of Ministry of Environmental Protection of Ukraine, State Road Service of Ukraine UKRAVTODOR, Association of Ukrainian Cities and Communities. Reforming of housing and communal services program on 2007 - 2011 is directed on complex modernization and technical reequipment of the sphere, creation of more effective system of housing and communal services management, also on demonopolization, loss-free work of enterprises of the field, improving regulatory framework, providing of comfortable conditions of citizens life.

The main goal of this event is contribution to introduction of modern technologies, equipment innovative developments in the field of housing and communal services, searching for new ways of solving the problems of the field, developing of offers regarding to improving of the state policy in the sphere of housing and communal services.

After greeting to the participants and visitors on the occasion of the exhibition opening honorary guests had a look at the exposition with the total area of 6 000 sq.m.

The evidence of actuality and necessity of "CommunTech'2007" is extension of the exposition every year, increase of participants, guests and visitors. This event is the connecting factor in exchange of innovative experience concerning determination of foreground directions of sector development and introduction of world achievements into technical reequipment of housing and communal services of Ukraine.

In 2006 a number of companies-participants was 162, but this year 214 Ukrainian and foreign producers and providers presented production of 18 states of the world on the exhibition area of IEC.

Successful solving of practical questions of heat and water supply, water drainage, communal fund management, providing of municipal transport functioning, road facilities maintenance, carrying out of road-building works, measures on accomplishment, planting, clean-up, solid domestic waste management by specialists of housing and communal services in every Ukrainian city depends on introduction of new achievements and advanced experience presented by "CommunTech'2007". High efficiency developments of native and foreign companies that will be applied in municipal economy of all Ukrainian regions were demonstrated on the exhibition.

International congress "Institutional and Technical Aspects of Housing and Communal Services Reformation - 2007" in the frames of the exhibition traditionally became the main part of "CommunTech'2007" and the place of professional consideration of improvement of sector management problems, forming of tariff policy, rational use of economic and energy resources. The main topics of the sessions: public policy of attraction of private sector to the sphere of housing and communal services; public private partnership in the sphere of housing and communal services; energy saving policy in the sphere of housing and communal services, energy-efficient technologies and events on energy saving.
The program of the congress included reports, seminars, round tables on actual directions of the sphere for government representatives, research assistances, specialists of housing and communal services. In the work of the congress more than 390 participants took part. Among them were the heads of the state administrations, local authorities, scientific establishments, housing and communal and building enterprises, business circles of Ukraine and foreign countries. On the 15th of November Minister of Housing and Municipal Economy of Ukraine Alexandr Popov visited "CommunTech'2007". The Head of the Ministry took part in the second plenary session of the congress devoted to the problems of energy-saving in the field of housing and communal services and had a look at the exhibition exposition.

"CommunTech" reflexes the trends of housing and communal services development that is important sector of economy and helps Ukrainian and foreign companies to promote their products on the markets of Ukraine and near-abroad countries, to introduce modern technologies, equipment and services to the practice. Based on five-year experience of this event holding we could conclude that most of companies participates to increase amount of sales, present new production, investigate and keep the share of market, professional contacts, extension of trade channel, advertising and company's image. Prestige and quality of exhibition organization are the main standards as usual. Large-scale advertising campaign helped to attract attention of participants and visitors to the exhibition work.
