International Trade Fair «Energy Efficiency. Renewable Energy» once again became the significant and expected event for participants' demonstration of their best developments in the sphere of energy‑saving and renewable sources of energy. This year 71 companies from 9 countries of the world (Austria, Belarus, Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Turkey, Ukraine) presented both own products and products of other countries as well (Great Britain, Slovenia, the USA, Taiwan and many others).
Year by year renewable energy in Ukraine is gaining considerable momentum and attracting more investors. Thus, foreign exhibitors specializing in renewable energy sources were: «Ecoprogetti» (Italy), «Energy 5» (Poland), «Ideal Energy» (Turkey), «Profec Ventus» (Germany); domestic participants in this direction were: «Metexpert», «Budpostach», «Wolf System», «Ekotechnik», «Peredovi Tekhnologii», «Prolog Semicor», «Specialized Energy Technologies» and others.
Boiler equipment is an integral part of both residential and industrial sectors because it is used to provide consumers with heat and hot water. Companies working in this direction were presented on this year's exhibition: «Avogadro Energy» (Italy), «John Greaves Energy», «Polytechnik Biomass Energy» (Austria), «Аiss Group», «Kriger», «Lika‑Svit», «Metalist», «Ustymivsk Boiler Mechanical Plant» and many others.
Price increase for traditional energy sources makes the use of biofuel (in particular pellets and briquettes) for domestic and industrial purposes more relevant, as evidenced by the participation in the exhibition of both Ukrainian and foreign companies: «RMP» (Latvia), «Vin‑Pellet», «TBZ Liakhovychesky» (Belarus), «Firewood». Getting acquainted with the achievements of the exhibitors, Sergiy Savchuk, Head of State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine noted, how active bioenergy in Ukraine is. This was facilitated by legislative incentives.
The stand of Trade Department of Embassy of the Republic of Austria in Ukraine (Advantage Austria) ‑ the annual exhibitor ‑ deserves special attention. This year, at the collective stand, 8 Austrian companies presented their products and services for improvement of energy efficiency and use of renewable energy, heating systems, biogas, etc. The relations between the two countries play an important role for economic and political cooperation, facilitate the exchange of experience and information in the sectors of economy, research and technology. Thus, Austrian companies' annual participation in the exhibition once again confirms the interest of both countries in further development of trade and economic relations and creation of favorable conditions for doing business.
The exhibition's debutant ‑ company «B Solutions» ‑ aroused a lively interest of the audience, because the technology of construction of energy storage towers was presented at the exposition for the first time.
The company «Prana Platinum», in turn, introduced a new line of the up‑to‑date energy efficient ventilation solutions for residential, public and industrial purpose. The recuperators of this series have got new possibilities of monitoring the state of the air environment due to sensors of humidity, atmospheric pressure, temperature, air quality.
It was crowded all three days of exhibition on the stand of «Krieger». In addition to company's core specialization, namely the production of boiler equipment, at the exhibition was presented a wind generator, which caused a furor among visitors. It is worth noting that at the seminar of the Public Union «Ukrainian Wind Energy Association», Sergiy Savchuk, Head of State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine defined features of the domestic wind power, which is the second largest sector of «clean» energy by the rate of object input.
The following companies have diversified the exhibition with heat pumps, energy saving systems, lighting, ventilation and air conditioning, steam turbines, rechargeable batteries: «Apator Metra» (Czech Republic), «Howden» (Germany), «MuoviTech», «ADS», «Electromir‑Kyiv», «Etalon‑Prylad», «Santa‑Inzhbud», «Sviteco» and many others.
